Instructions
- 1Bring a small pot of water to a gentle boil.
- 2Lower the egg in carefully and cook for exactly 4 minutes — you want the white just set and the yolk still soft and jammy.
- 3Remove from water and cut the egg in half.
- 4Scoop out the yolk with a spoon — discard the white for now. Whites are a more common allergen; introduce them separately once yolk is well tolerated.
- 5Serve the yolk as is with a spoon, or mash with your choice of avocado, banana, or applesauce.
