The wild-caught fish and seafood delivery service we personally use. Flash-frozen within hours of harvest to preserve freshness and nutrition. Sustainably sourced from well-managed fisheries โ most are MSC certified or State of Alaska certified. Excellent selection of salmon, sardines, cod, and more. The salmon and sardines are what we use most often in our kitchen for recipes like sardine pate.
We are researching the best grass-fed beef, lamb, and organ meat delivery services to recommend. We will only add a recommendation once we have personally used and vetted the product.

The only cod liver oil we recommend โ cold-processed, never heated, from wild Norwegian Arctic cod. The gold standard for DHA, EPA, and fat-soluble vitamins A and D for babies and young children. Read our full guide to cod liver oil for kids.
Every cookware material has trade-offs. No option is perfectly inert. We have done the full research โ read our honest cookware guide before buying. The products below are what we personally own and use.
The safest stovetop cooking option we have found. Fully inert glass-ceramic that goes directly on the stovetop โ no coatings, no leaching, no concerns. This is what we use for all Persian stews and slow cooking. The broth from a glass pot is noticeably cleaner in taste.
What we use for kotlet, koobideh, and anything that needs good searing and heat retention. Enameled cast iron with no PFAS and no synthetic coating. Excellent heat distribution for Persian pan-fried recipes. It will outlast everything else in the kitchen.
What we use for large-batch Persian stews when the glass pot is too small. The enamel coating makes it safe for long acidic stews โ no nickel leaching like stainless steel, no coating degradation like ceramic pans. The most accessible and affordable enameled cast iron option.
What we use for everyday quick cooking and eggs. PFAS-free, beautiful design, extremely practical 10-in-1 format. We use it at medium heat only, hand-wash every time, and replace it when the coating shows wear.
A short list of ingredients we use consistently and recommend with confidence.
Unrefined sea salt with 70+ trace minerals โ harvested by hand in France using traditional methods. This is the salt we use in all our cooking. The mineral content is meaningfully different from refined table salt, and the flavor is noticeably better. We add it to family portions only โ never to food for babies under 12 months.
